Keep Hopewell Beautiful

Responsibilities

Keep Hopewell Beautiful (formerly the Clean City Commission) is a forum in which to

  • Influence residents of Hopewell to keep the City clean and beautiful
  • Educate people about problems and issues related to trash
  • Encourage recycling
  • Be concerned about the environment

This Commission is established by City Council action and consists of 15 Hopewell citizens appointed by the City Council.

Purpose

The purpose of the Board is to instill community pride and increase participation in the Clean City Commission and its activities; also to maintain an ongoing recycling program and coordinate a biannual citywide clean-up program.
