VOTING INFORMATION DATES FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE CITY OF HOPEWELL, VA., 4TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

• January 6, 2023: Absentee and Early Voting Starts
• February 10, 2023: the Last Day to request Mailed AB
• February 11, 2023: First Required Saturday for Early Voting
• February 14, 2023: Last Day to register to Vote.
• February 15, 2023: First Day of Same-Day Registration and Voting
• February 18, 2023: Last Saturday of Early Voting
• February 21, 2023: Election Day 
• The office will be open on the last two Saturdays before the Election for Early Voting, Feb. 11, 2023, and Feb. 18th, 2023.

The canvassing date will be on February 22nd, 2023 after Election Day. The provisional date to bring your ID to the Voter Registration office if not provided at the polls is on February 24, 2023, by 12PM.

Inclement Weather Information

In the event that Hopewell City Government Offices close due to inclement weather, absentee voting will be canceled.
